Pelser Confirmed As Senior Coach

Chorley Cricket Club is delighted to announce the signing of Brett Pelser as senior coach.

Pelser joins the club for the upcoming 2022 season and will start in February at winter practice.

First team captain Andy Holdsworth said: “We’re ecstatic to secure the services of such a well thought of and highly sought coach in Brett.

“Bringing in a senior coach is something we’ve wanted to do for quite a while but it was essential we secured the right candidate.

“Brett will provide a huge boost to the senior set up at the club and will also work alongside club professional Roshen Silva.”

As well as the club’s winter nets, Pelser will also play a key role at the club’s summer senior nets.

Speaking about his appointment, Pelser added: “I’m really pleased to be joining Chorley Cricket Club.

“It’s a club I’m well aware of and has plenty of potential on the pitch.

“Winter nets aren’t far away and I can’t wait for things to get going.”

The club’s winter nets start on Thursday February 17 from 7pm at Lukeys Sports.

All new players are welcome.
